Photo of the Day
In June I was in Winchester, Indiana to shoot the ARCA race there. It was a great time, as well as a good learning experience. I had fun blurring the track with the cars. After a while though it all looks the same. I started trying some new things that were a little harder. I liked the idea of having a mirror image of Frank Kimmel who is one of the all time great ARCA drivers. He tied the record for the most wins in the series that day. He is in a class by himself, and I think that this photo shows that. Last week he won the season ending race in Kansas to take the all time wins record as well as win his 10th ARCA title.
Technical Data
Here is just converted the photo to black and white in Lightroom. I used the HDR in black and white preset by Matt Kloskowski. I love the look it gives my photos. I then pumped up the contrast and blacks as well to give it that concert black and white look. I think that it added to this picture that I already liked.
