Photo of the Day
A couple of weeks ago I was on the field for Purdue’s homecoming game against Northern Illinois. I might have been a little too excited to be on the field so I shot warm ups for way too long. I like to warm up as well before a game, but I shot everything. When I settled down I decided to try and make a picture like the one above. The first player through the line was Gary Bush. Everything seemed to fall in place, and I made the picture that you see above. Everything from the eyes to the placement of the ball, to the P showing on the ball really looked great to me. This is the type of picture that I would love to make during the game. I will have my chance today when Nebraska comes into Ross Ade Stadium to play the Boilers. It will be a tough test for sure, but after a bye week it will be interesting to see what Purdue can do.
Technical Data
As with most of my sports pictures I just tweaked a couple of settings here. I shoot in RAW in case something goes very wrong, but most of the time I don’t need it.
