The Saturn V

Photo of the Day

In 2006 I visited the NASA center at Cape Canaveral to see where space history was made. I loved seeing the old rockets on display. The Saturn series rockets that were used during the Apollo missions were very impressive. They have them in a large building that just houses the rockets. I didn’t have the equipment at the time to even get the whole thing in the frame like I wanted to. Someday I would love to visit here again to give it another go.

Technical Data

Here is another time when I had a jpeg file from my Canon Rebel to work with. I don’t normally like to do much to it so I just correct the color and add to the highlights. Because of the lights in the building I also adjusted the white balance.
