A Big Catch

Photo of the Day

While in San Francisco earlier this year I made my way to AT&T Park to catch a Giants game. I had a couple of reasons for heading to the park. One was to watch the Giants and Rockies battle it out. The other reason was to photograph this beautiful park. It seemed as if everywhere you looked whether inside or out there was something to photograph. I loved this scene in the outfield. The giant mitt is actually a slide for kids as well as being a huge advertisement for Coke.

Technical Data

I wanted something a little different here so I used a Trey Ratcliff preset. The preset is called Dramatically Hairy Chippy. It has a look that I like every now and then. Sometimes when the sky is boring like in this shot it adds the drama that I want.

Another Thank You

As I said yesterday the past few days have been a whirlwind. It is hard to believe that one photo can generate such a buzz. The attention the photo has received will allow me to do some interesting things in the coming weeks. Looking at the numbers the last couple of days has been mind boggling to me. I just wanted to say thank you to all of the new followers, and I hope that I can give you something good to look at in the future.
