Photo of the Day
I have not posted a sports image in a while. During our California trip I was able to catch a Giants game at their beautiful ballpark. I was able to get a great seat right behind the Giants on deck circle. If you read this blog then you know that the catcher is my favorite position on the field. I like the way that they are kind of on their own for the most part. They really kind of have their own set of rules. They are the only players that start the play in foul ground. They have by far the most equipment on the field. They just stand alone. One of the best in the game right now is Buster Posey of the Giants. He was definitely a target when I was taking pictures that night. I have some pictures of him looking at the camera, but I like this one more. He stands in the on deck circle, but he is staring intently on the pitcher in order to time him. Something about this shot just speaks to me.
Technical Data
This was a very easy edit. I applied the light sports preset by Matt Kloskowski to start things off. I then adjusted the highlights, and performed a small crop. That was the extent of my adjustments here. I like the ease of processing sports photos.
