Yesterday I attended a going away party for one of the Lafayette Brawlin’ Dolls. It really is great how close these girls are to each other. One of them leaving is like losing a member of the family. I made some pictures of the Brawlin’ Dolls, but I also wanted to capture some of the details of the event as well. Here is one of my shots of the cupcakes that were made for the occasion. I liked the look, and thought that it would be a decent shot for the blog. The Brawlin’ Dolls have a home bout this weekend at the Fairgrounds. More info on the bout can be found here. Technical Data
I really cheated here. For this picture I used Matt Kloskowski’s light sports preset to get me close. I then tweaked the highlights a bit and then exported it. I really like how the preset makes things look. On a shot like this it really allows me to draw the attention into the center where it belongs.
