Photo of the Day

Tonight I ended the day by making pictures at the Lafayette Brawlin’ Dolls home opener at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds. It was a long day for sure. I started making pictures at a track meet at Purdue at 11 in the morning. From there I went straight to the baseball game. After a break to change clothes I made it to the Brawl House where I took pictures leading up to and including the bout. I left the Brawl House 11 house after I made my first picture. Some people would complain about those kind of hours, but I loved every minute of it. I did make way too many pictures though so I have a lot of processing to do this coming week. I still have not even put all of the pictures onto my computer, but when I saw this one I knew that it would be the picture of the day. I even thought so when I took the picture. I love these moments of emotion. This is something that my access allows me to get so of course I want to try and get a shot like this whenever I can. I may have more on the bout later as it was the first time that I have used a remote camera. I may post a photo from that remote and explain how I did it, and how I would change things in the future.

Technical Data

I did not do much to this photo. I changed the white balance in Lightroom, and then adjusted the highlights and blacks. I then exported it to my hard drive to post it here. I like when a picture is an easy edit, and this one was.
