Sports Photo of the Day
In 2008 I was lucky enough to have some good seats for a few games at the end of the season. I saw a couple late season games as well as the one game playoff against the Twins. This picture was taken on what should have been the last regular season game of that season. Of course a rainout and a tie forced two more games to be played. As the Indians were warming up prior to the game their outfielder Franklin Gutierrez had a unique stretching style. I was lucky enough to have the camera up and ready to make this picture. This is one of those unique moments that make baseball so special to me. I have watched a couple of games on MLB.TV so far this season, but the need to see one in person is getting strong.
Technical Data
I used a preset on this picture in Lightroom to give it a unique look. I used the desaturated light sports preset by Matt Kloskowski for this picture. I like the darker look to the shot. This was the perfect preset to give this a unique look in minimal time. I have some baseball to watch after all!
