Photo of the Day
I took this photo in 2011 the day that I got my Canon 60D. I went out to my familiar location at the windmills to try and get a few sunset pictures. I thought that I would try and take one picture of the signs so that I would remember where I was. When I saw the moon in the background with the good color I realized that I had more than a reference picture here. I took some time to frame it up, and the picture above is the result. I really like this simple picture.
Technical Data
For this picture I applied one of Matt Kloskowski’s presets to it in Lightroom as a starting point. From there I brought back some of the highlights, and then exported the picture. This was a simple picture as well as a simple edit.
