Photo of the Day
Tonight I will be attending my first derby event of the year. Last year I was introduced to the sport, and I immediately loved watching derby. I took this picture of Maiden America jamming during my first bout last year. I spent most of the bout just trying to figure out what would work in the low light situations that derby puts you in. I learned a lot this past season, and I look forward to seeing what I can capture this season. That all starts tonight in Milwaukee.
Technical Data
I started off here by applying the light sports gameday preset in Lightroom by Matt Kloskowski. From there I tweaked the RAW file to get the colors as close as possible to the real thing that night.
