Photo of the Day
Last season I went to see the Brawlin’ Dolls practice in order to try out my 70-200mm lens. I had just gotten it, and wanted to see what it could do in low light. I was just shooting away seeing what I could get when I saw this image. I quickly took the shot. I liked the idea of sisters in law talking, but the shirt on one of the girls really made it for me. The shirt will come up in another post in the future.
Technical Data
I really don’t have an explanation for this picture. I used a black and white preset that was included in Lightroom that was made for canyons. It really seemed to work here. I shoot at a high ISO so I get a lot of noise. Most things that I would normally try seem to increase that noise. This next season I really need to work on ways of getting the light good enough so that I don’t have to worry about noise. That will open up some new possibilities for me.
