Taking a Break

When we were in New York a few years ago we went down to the financial district to see the sights. As we were going by the back of the stock exchange I noticed one of the traders on his phone taking a break. This allowed me to put a few of the iconic elements of the street into one shot. The only part that I wish were different here is the guy with the red shirt. He is very distracting.

Technical Data

I cropped in a bit here to something that I wish I had shot on the scene that day. This shot started out with the crop, but I then applied the sports desaturated light look to it. After doing some tweaking I decided that I didn’t like the shot. I came back to it today, and I realized that is was just missing that color. I added that back, and you see the finished product above. I did try and clone the red shirt out, but I really didn’t have enough to work with in Lightroom to get that done. A clone stamp tool would have been awesome here.
