Throwback Photo
It appears that I will be visiting Colorado in a couple of weeks so I thought that I would have the next couple of throwback photos come from the great state of Colorado. This is one of my favorite pictures taken in Steamboat. It is of my brother heading down a hill filled with moguls with another portion of the resort in the background. I have always liked this picture. Now with a bit more of a critical eye I think I could have framed it better, but I still like it. A good moment at a good resort is hard to beat for me. I had better get the cold weather clothes ready.
Technical Data
I hate to say it, but I used the light sports preset on this photo. I had it all ready to go when I decided to just try the preset to see what it would do. I liked the end result enough to use it as is. It really makes the trees pop in the background. This is a pretty good shot taken with just a point and shoot. The point and shoot is very easy to carry on the hill so why not use it?
