Photo of the Day
After the events that transpired in Connecticut last week I thought that this post was warranted. I normally wouldn’t talk about something like that on this blog, but the events touched me enough that I felt that I had to say something. This was a simple picture that I took over the weekend before a party at my parents house. It is not my best work, but I really like the simple message. During the holidays when you open up your presents just remember that there are many that are not as lucky as you. Treasure what you have.
Technical Data
I used the strong sports preset from Matt Kloskowski as a starting point here. From there this image required a lot of tweaking. The lighting conditions were not the best, but I really wanted this shot. Without a tripod I had to do my best. In the end I got the photo that I wanted when I started.
