Photo of the Day
Here is another shot from the photowalk on Navy Pier from June of 2011. Actually this was just after the walk as I took some new found information on the trail to see what would work. I saw this rainbow formed across the Chicago River, and I wanted a shot of it. As I was walking to a spot that had a good background I saw this boat approaching. I realized that I had one shot to get the picture that I wanted. I loved the way that this family walked up to the front of the boat to see the rainbow. On my end it looked great. I had my settings dialed in before they actually got there so that when they did I could just get the shot. This was the perfect end to a perfect day.
Technical Data
This was processed using a Nicole S Young preset called Moab. I bought all three of her preset packs yesterday when they were on sale for Cyber Monday. I was expecting some great deals, but for some reason I really did not see much that excited me. This was something that I nearly bought when they came out, but from seeing them on my phone through Google+ to actually buying them I forgot to get them. With a second chance I bought all three packs. I liked the potential for saving time that they gave me. I knew that like the others once I knew what they did I could just pick the right one fairly quickly. Other than the preset not much else was done to this shot.

Absolutely love rainbows, this is a great photo
