Photo of the Day
A while back I posted a shot of a restaurant we at at in Ocean City during the sunset. What I didn’t talk about in that post is what I did on my way to get the sunset shot. I actually stopped to get this picture. Don’t ask me why. I was in a huge hurry, but my photography attention span only can handle one picture idea at a time. I saw this one, and I had to get the picture. For some reason having to walk under this huge crab to eat crabs seemed like a good picture idea to me. Sometimes on vacation you have ideas of things that you want to shoot, and other times things like this pop up to give you interesting pictures.
Technical Data
This is a three shot HDR picture that was processed in Photomatix Pro. It is amazing now how I just use the program to get my 32 bit file. I then take that file back into Lightroom to use the sliders there. I really liked this picture, but I loved it after I turned up the contrast a bit. Just a subtle change made a huge difference in the picture.
