Photo of the Day
Tonight I went around looking for a specific set of objects to photograph. I was sure that somewhere near me had to be the two neighbors with different political views. I really wanted the view from both angles of the different signs with the emphasis different on each one. I actually had been looking for this for a while, but I could not seem to find it. The same held true tonight so I had to settle on this shot of just one of the signs by itself. Four years ago no matter the candidate elected it was going to be a historical day. This year the election does not have the same feel to it, and the lack of signs that I found may show that others feel the same way. Either way the decision today will give us the face of the country for the next four years.
I liked this picture of the Romney sign because of the flag on the front porch and the way that the porch looked. This just had the feel of ‘America’ to me. I wish that I could have had the flag a bit more in the bokeh, but you can’t get everything that you want.
Technical Data
I really did not do much here. Just a minor tweaking of the highlights, clarity, vibrance, and contrast in Lightroom. I really wanted to keep it pretty close to as shot.
