Photo of the Day
Yesterday I went for a drive getting some pictures. I spent some time at Wolf Park and then decided to try some scenes at the battlefield. I took the Wabash Heritage Trail behind the battlefield to see if I could get any pictures along Burnett’s Creek. I really couldn’t find anything too interesting at the beginning of the trail. I finally saw a scene on the trail, but I couldn’t find a way down to it. I decided to give it a shot, and I hoped that when I got down near the creek that the ground was not too soggy. I really didn’t want to go in with my camera gear. Everything worked out fine, and I was able to get this shot. It is a simple scene, but there is something that I really like about it.
Technical Data
This is a three shot HDR using the -2, 0, and +2 exposures. I ran them through Photomatix, and as per the norm lately sent the 32 bit tif file back to Lightroom to edit. In this scene the light was all over the spectrum so even with the wide dynamic range it was hard to get the light right like it was on the scene. After some playing around in Lightroom I think that I got it right.
