It Used To Be Sears

Photo of the Day

I took this shot last March during a self guided photowalk in Chicago. I was all over the city that day, and one of my last stops was the Willis (formerly Sears) Tower. I had walked back and forth across the city, but I really wanted to get a shot of the famous tower. I also went up top to get a shot, but for now I thought I would post this one from the base.

Technical Data

This shot was edited solely in Lightroom. At the time I took three shots to put together an HDR image. In fact when I got home I put together a terrible HDR that had halos everywhere. I decided to give this picture another shot once I had a decent handle on Lightroom. I really did not do much to the shot, just what has become my basic adjustments.

    1. Thank you. It was my first outing with my new wide angle lens at the time so I was not sure what to expect. It was great timing getting the lens though for sure.
