Phone Friday
This is normally the space where I would have my iPhone pictures, but I do have a handfull of pictures from my old Blackberry that I would like to put here. In 2009 I made my first trip to Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisconsin. I love the Packers so this was my first chance to see them play in their historic stadium. I wanted to mark the occasion so I took pictures of everything that made the trip possible. I think the usher thought that I was crazy for wanting this picture, but he has had to have had people ask him before. This is a picture that I love so why not kick off this new segment with it. I have posted some phone pictures on Friday before so I just double tagged them.
One thing that I really like about the photo is the fact that you can see the Vince Lombardi statue in the glass doors. This was not intended at the time of shooting, but is a very happy accident. Sometimes good things just happen.
Technical Data
I really couldn’t do too much to this picture since it came from the Storm. I did try and lighten it up a bit, and I like this product a bit better than the original.
Kelby Worldwide Photowalk
Here is that part of the post where I talk about the photowalk that I am leading on campus after the Wisconsin game in October. The date is October 13th to be exact, and the walk will start at 4 o’clock est at the Neil Armstrong Statue in front of the Armstrong Hall of Engineering. Over 1,300 photowalks are planned around the world. If you are not near West Lafayette then you kind find a walk near you on the Kelby site. Sign up now to be part of this event. Over 31,000 walkers have already signed up so far. You don’t have to be a pro (I am far from it) to attend. Any kind of camera is welcome as well. Here are a few links to the various sites which promote the event. If you want to sign up you should do so on the Kelby site in order to be eligible for the prizes though.
