Photo of the Day
Today I was out trying for a killer picture. I really did not get what I was looking for. Perhaps that is because I didn’t know what I was looking for. I took this shot early on in my journey as a storm was moving in. I liked how it looked, and thought it was a good safety. Who knew that it would be the picture of the day?
Technical Data
This shot was just missing something. I couldn’t figure out what it was, but I just knew that something had to be done. I didn’t look good in either color or black and white. I ended up compromising and putting in a little of both. I desaturated the photo, but not quite all the way. I also applied a cinematic crop that I saw in a Scott Kelby video. The ratio worked very well for this photo.
