Photo of the Day
It is funny how things work out sometimes. Normally on Thursday I am going to work just as the sun is rising. A schedule change this week allowed me to sleep in so I missed the sunrise. Maybe next week I will go out and get a sunrise picture again, it has been a while. I had a shot that I took after work of corn and the sky. I even had it set to post when I saw a hole in the clouds on the horizon. That usually means that the sky will light up. I knew that I couldn’t get to a spot to get a shot so I was just going to sit it out. After some prompting I went out to see the show. Of course once I saw the show I had to get a couple pictures of it. I tried the sunset with a couple of backdrops, but I knew that the house would be the best one. I grabbed the wide angle lens and went to the far corner up against the fence. I knew right away that I had a good shot, and I couldn’t wait to get the thing to post.
Technical Data
I took this shot into Lightroom with high expectations. I adjusted the exposure and of course upped the clarity a bit. Then I tried the color sliders a bit to see what I could do. I really just made the shot worse so I gave up there, and went back to something much closer to the actual shot.
