Photo of the Day
Today I once again did not have a picture in mind for the day. When I first saw this wagon I was on the way to get another picture. I filed it away to use another day. When the first idea did not pan out we went back to the gas station. I wanted a shot showing the wagon and the station, but the sunset was just begging to be photographed too.
Technical Data
This is a return to HDR for me. After a short absence this is a six shot image ranging from +3 to -2. I ran the photo through Photomatix making it look like I thought it should in there. I then brought the jpeg back to Lightroom to crop it. After the crop I used some of the Lightroom 4 tools to darken it a bit more. As it was saving I commented that it reminded me of what Leanne Cole is doing now with her pictures. I then applied a vignette to the picture, and I liked it even more. A new save to my 365 folder, and I was ready to blog.
Other News
This year had a leap day, and apparently I decided to leap day 283 of this project. It was something I noticed earlier today, but didn’t have time to correct. I have gone back and updated the few posts in that time to show the correct day. So technically this is day 289 for the second day in a row.
