Bonus Photo of the Day
As promised here is a bonus shot from yesterday. After a long and tiring day we still had one more event to attend. We went to the bout between the Lafayette Brawlin’ Dolls and the Dire Skates at the Family Sports Center in West Lafayette. Before the bout some of the girls at our tailgate put on some temporary tattoos to support the team. I thought that it would make a good picture, and I like the way that this one turned out. Sometimes it is the simple things that make the best images. That is a major point that I have learned during this project so far. In the past I would have been all about capturing that great action shot for the day. Now I am always looking for something that shows a bit about the surrounding events as well.
Technical Data
Not much done here. I opened the file in Photoshop in order to run Topaz Adjust 5 on it. I didn’t run a crazy filter on this because of the way that it made the skin look. I did however run the Photo Pop adjustment on it to bring out the colors a bit more. I probably could have done the same in Lightroom, but I wanted to do it quick.
