Photo of the Day
Tonight we ate in downtown Lafayette. As we were leaving the restaurant I noticed a free open mic night at the Lafayette theater. I have never seen the inside of the place so I wanted to take a look. For some reason I was not pleased when I walked inside. It was not the ornate theater that I was hoping for. I didn’t have my tripod so I improvised and set my camera on a chair that was stacked against the wall. I didn’t like the shot at first because of the low angle but it is growing on me. A crop helped things out a lot.
Technical Data
This is a three shot HDR image. With the long exposures over three shots there was bound to be movement. After running the picture in Photomatix I brought it into Photoshop for a little cleanup. I did not do a lot, but I did remove some of the ghosting. The crop really helped he image out. It went from bad to something that I could work with. I wish that I had more time to work on my pictures to get them perfect but I do not have, that luxury. I have to pick my battles, and this was one that I quit a little early on.
