Day 236: Time To Remember

Today while the parties are going on and people are enjoying an extra day off it is important to remember why we have the day off in the first place. Many men and women died so that we can enjoy the freedom to have today off. I have never served myself, but I appreciate what these men and women did for us. It is hard as you look over the graves of these veterans not to think about the things that they saw in their area of combat. I could not imagine it, and I hope that I never have to experience anything like it. If you see a veteran today thank him for what he has done.
