Tonight I had a star trail shot in mind again, but time was not on my side. I settled for this shot of the vines and the moon just after the sun set. Tomorrow should be a good day as I will be in Indianapolis at the speedway. The combination of racing and seeing Lynyrd Skynard should lend itself to at least one good picture. I think that some quick thinking helped me get a good picture tonight. While scouting to see if any clouds were going to appear I noticed the moon was out early. I wanted to line it up here, and took a three shot bracket. I ran the pictures through Photomatix, and then used pieces of the three originals to spruce up this shot. I am getting better at Frankesteining a picture together, but like anything else it just takes practice. It is a skill that will be worth it for sure.
