Day 222: Flower Power

Today I went a long time without taking a shot. It was only at about 8:30 tonight when I realized that I really needed to get a picture. It was a very busy day, and even a quick shot was not in the cards. When I left work there were many clouds in the sky to make things interesting, but I needed to get some work done going through the many (over 1,000) pictures that I took this weekend. By the time that I was done the clouds were gone, and it was an ugly clear sky. That is great if you are shooting stars, but terrible during the day. I kept waiting around for some more clouds to roll in, but that never happened. In the end I shot this flower that was on the arch in the backyard. So far the arch has given about three shots to the blog I think. It has been a lifesaver. I have been reading up a bit on HDR and I want to try some things out, but I also don’t want to force it. Maybe tomorrow I can get an HDR shot on here. Although thinking about it now I have two baseball games to attend so it will probably be another sports shot that nobody seems to like.
