Today I went without a picture until about twenty minutes ago. I had a lot of bright ideas, but nothing came of them. I even had the words ‘picture idea’ spelled out in animal crackers before I decided to try and get something good. I went outside thinking that I could get a tree outline with the afterglow of the sun still in the air. It was then that I noticed this very bright star. Thanks to the Star Walk app on my phone I know that it actually is not a star, but a planet. Venus has been in a couple of pictures so far, and it makes another appearance today. I wanted to frame the star so I put a low hanging tree in the way. I went from having no picture at all to having a picture that I kind of liked. This is not my best work, but I am slowly getting better shooting the stars.
