Day 182 Bonus: And Here’s The Pitch

Today I was able to catch parts of a couple of Major League games on television. After watching them I was ready to watch some baseball in person so I headed down the road to see West Lafayette play another game. I was having fun once again taking pictures through the fence. For the most part I am happy with how I shoot that way, but a few times being in manual mode during a sporting event got the best of me. After one pitch a run down occurred, and I could not keep up with the action through the fence. I guess that I am not used to focusing on my own so that will come with time. Yet again I processed a single raw file in Photomatix to come up with an HDR shot. I love how it brought out the textures, but I still am not too sure about how much I like using HDR in these situations. It has been fun using the HDR process on a sport that I have taken many pictures of though. I will keep trying to see if I can perfect this technique.
