Day 165: A Spring View

Today the sky was awesome all day. I knew that I wanted a picture of one of the flowering trees, and I also knew that I wanted that sky in the background. The way that it was moving though I also knew that it would be hit or miss as to what exactly I had in the background. The clouds were moving so fast in fact that the HDR shot that I really had in mind was not happening with the six frame method. I knew that it probably would not work so I worked hard to balance the lights and the darks in this shot. In the end I like how this turned out. I love to take shots around buildings and industry and make them look like they are in the middle of nowhere. I think that I accomplished that with this shot. I can’t wait until more color comes as spring draws closer.
