Day 161: Spring Already?

With the recent warm temperatures I have been wondering if spring is really here already. Today at work I noticed that the trees also thought that it was spring. The buds on them excites me a little because that means that some color is on the way. After a winter that has been dreary things are starting to come around. Just before I left work today I pulled out my camera and put the 50mm lens on it. I wanted to play around with this lens outside because I had not used it much yet. I set my aperture at 1.8 and started shooting. I had to manually focus on the branch because of the winds today so that upped the difficulty a bit. The wind also made framing the picture a chore. I tried to time it, and in the end I liked the final result. It was nice to have the DSLR out again today. Maybe the colors coming back will jump start my project again.
