Day 110: Back To The Beginning

I started taking pictures mainly to capture moments at sporting events. In fact I went my first five years with a DLSR shooting almost exclusively sporting events. Since starting this blog I have slowly moved away from that to the point I have gone out and shot other things rather than attending a sporting event. I decided to go to the Purdue game tonight to experience a game in Mackey again. I had some good shots from the game tonight, but I liked this one the best. The effort by Lewis Jackson (#23) to score really impressed me. I was lucky to get this shot just after he released the ball, and started falling out of bounds. LewJack as he is called is a very quick guard, and I am always ready to shoot when he darts to the lane. He looks like the jumpman of Nike more often than not as he releases the ball. This drive looked just different enough to make it interesting to me.

I have a sports site that I have run for a little over five years. I obviously haven’t been posting much lately over there, but I have a post up tonight with some of the other pictures that I liked from tonight’s game. You can see them by clicking this link.
