Day 97: The Gears of Change

Today I had another long day at work in which the sun was never up when I was outside the building. The rain changed my mind about taking a shot outside so I decided to work from inside my apartment for the third day in a row. Once again I pulled out the 50mm lens to shoot with. I had an idea of shooting my road bike from behind to capture the chain as it goes back to the crank. With the 50mm lens opened all the way up i would have a progressively blurry chain moving away. In the end I like the shot although I do prefer landscapes to shooting inside my apartment. I did learn a little today though about framing a shot like this so the day was not totally lost. This is now three days in a row without shooting a single HDR shot. I think that I might have forgotten how to create one. Then again it might be just like riding a bike. Once you do it you never forget.
