Day 71: Ready to Party

Today’s picture was taken about 90 miles further north than normal. I am back in my hometown for a Christmas party tomorrow. I always enjoy how my father decorates the basement, so I knew that I would take some pictures. Out of the ones that I took today I liked this one the best. I set up my tripod on one of the tables set up for the party tomorrow and pointed the camera towards the bar. I wanted to include the tree in the study and the stained glass window in the shot. It worked out pretty good for the first try. Using the tripod allowed me to get a couple longer exposures into the mix. I have a couple more HDR shots from the day, but this site only allows me to post one picture a post.
