Day 44: Almost Doesn’t Count

Today I was at the Purdue game against Iowa. Late in the game last week’s hero Robert Marve was inserted into the game in an impossible situation. He was diving for the pylon when he lost the ball. As soon as the fumble hit the pylon it became Iowa ball on the 20, and the end of the comeback. While it was a disappointing finish for sure I did get the evidence on my camera to see that the play was called right. If Purdue can win next week I might have some pictures from the site of a bowl game later in the year. Getting somewhere warm sounded really good. Today’s loss though might have sealed the team’s fate in Detroit if anywhere.
