Day 40: A Break In The Clouds

I was thinking this morning how great it would have been to have yesterday’s picture on day forty. Just a small numerical nod to the forty days and nights of rain from the Bible. Today I went out twice going for a good picture, but really did not get what I was looking for. The first time I just did not see anything that struck my eye. On my second trip I had just missed some great clouds at the windmills. Just behind them was a large cloud mass that ruined the sunset. While waiting to see if the sunset would amount to anything I noticed this break in the clouds. I pointed the camera up and took a shot. As it turns out I am glad that I did because nothing really happened after that. The sunset was obscured, and luckily I had a safety shot.
