Day 39: After the Storm

This afternoon in West Lafayette we had a bad storm. We were all sent to the bottom floor to wait it out and luckily nothing bad came of it. When I came home tonight I noticed Highway 52 out front was flooded. I grabbed my camera and made my way out there to get a couple pictures. I wanted to get a little closer, but the pesky highway traffic stopped me. I settled for a spot across the street to get my picture. I had to time my shot so that the traffic on my side was not in the way, but after a couple of misses I snapped this shot. It is not the best picture ever, but I like the look of the water.
