October 20th, 2011 (Day 14): Autumn Leaves

Today yet again it was rainy and cold. Just as I left work the rain quit so I knew that I would have a small window to get a picture. I drove just behind my work to a set of soccer fields where I saw some nice trees on the property line. I went in with one idea, and once again I changed what I was doing on the fly. This picture almost did not happen as I was walking back to the car when I saw these two leaves. I liked the many colors in the shot. I took one, then took a second shot a little underexposed. For some reason I really like my shots just a little on the dark side. This one was much improved after the change, and it made the cut because of that look.
