October 15th, 2011: More Windmills

Once again I struck out intending to take a great fall picture. Instead I found myself back at the windmills just north of Lafayette. I am fascinated by these things, and I love to take pictures of them. This picture was by far my favorite of the night. I drove right by this little creek before slamming on my breaks to back up. I really experimented with my settings to get the right shot. I have not photoshopped any picture so far on this blog. I want to get better at taking pictures instead of getting better at using photoshop. I love the silhouettes of the windmills as well as the earths shadow on the horizon. These tall objects out in the fields might be boring to some, but I love how they add to the landscape. You will see them again on this site.
