Stopping For A Minute To Enjoy The Spring Colors

I have really neglected making photos of the spring colors this year. I have been really focused on the sports that have returned. Some of my favorite blooming trees came and went without me even really noticing this year because of that. The other day I spent some time out in my yard making some photos of our tree. The light was hitting it perfectly, and the sky was playing along nicely.

Another Chance

This tree at one point we thought we were going to have to take down. Some trimming allowed it to stay, and now this spring it is the most beautiful thing in our yard. I can relate to this tree. Last year I thought that my photography business was dead. We are not out of the woods just yet, but this spring has seen a slight rebirth. I have been able to get out and make the sports photos that I love to make again. Both the tree and I are feeling pretty good about things right now.
