A Yellow-Rumped Warbler At The Celery Bog

Another Yellow-Rumped Warbler At The Celery Bog

Last week I only made it out to the Celery Bog one day to make some photos. I was slammed all week, and I didn’t have my usual morning time to myself. Hopefully that changes next week because I have really come to enjoy these little walks. That and the fact that I have not found my owl yet. While on my walk Wednesday I found this yellow-romped warbler hanging around. When I was starting out every photo that I made was of a bird that I had not photographed yet. Now they are starting to repeat themselves. The weather will change, and so will many of the birds out there though.

Thank You Merlin!

There is an app called Merlin that allows you to upload a photo of a bird, and it will tell you exactly what that bird is. You have no idea how cool that is. At this point I am not collecting the birds, but I want to be able to say what it is for keywords and for the blog. Without Merlin they would be what they have always been. This would have been a yellow bird. Technology can be really cool at times. Without it I could name very few birds. As I have said in the past I am the world’s worst birder.
