Photographing the Things Close to Home

One thing that I need to get better at is taking advantage of the things that are right in front of me. When I travel I find things that are great about the area and photograph them. Here I tend to take a different approach. I know that things will always be there so I don’t make the time to photograph them. This past weekend I was lucky enough to have a shoot on campus so when that was over I took a little walk around to see what the campus looked like when the colors were near their peak. I was not disappointed. The campus is always beautiful, but it seemed more so with the fall colors in bloom. I will have more photos from my walk around campus in the near future.
